About Us
Throughout the Old Testament we find
a pattern of behavior with Israel, God’s chosen people. They would fall from a
right standing with God; He punished and rebuked them, they would repent, and
God would again deliver and restore them.
In accomplishing this, God sent His
prophets to warn His people to repent; to return in obedience regarding the
law, the commandments, and His Word. Here’s the catch; many times Israel thought they were right with God
and approached Him that way. Through pride and the blindness which Satan
brings, they were unable to see that they had strayed from the Lord! Jesus
Himself speaks of such individuals in Matthew 7:21-23. These went to the grave not thinking they would fool God, but
honestly believing they were in good standing with Him.
So it is now, during the falling away (II Thessalonians 2:3) of
the last days. The revised bible translations pose as the Word, and people
“feel” good about them. Yet even a routine comparison of these to the King
James Bible shows them to be another gospel; while they may
contain some of God’s words, a great
deal has been changed, added, or deleted. In other words, the very foundation
of our faith has been altered. People feel comfortable with the new version
language, and are confident that their sincerity is really what
matters; that God will still take them to heaven. What is truly needed is
sincere, humble repentance! We need
a return to the true Word, without relying on our own righteousness and wisdom,
which often amounts to a mere form of godliness which has denied
the power.
The Lord has called me to this end;
to sound the alarm as a faithful watchman. I have been called to present the
truth to His straying people, while we still have time. I know that in the end
it will cause the death of my physical body; as with the Lord, His disciples,
His prophets. Yet the mercy Christ has shown me He would show to any who would
receive Him. The positive result of this ministry may be small in men’s
eyes—yet of satisfying value to our Lord!
Yet
it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for
sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the
LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and
shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many;
for he shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:10,11
God (in His mercy) continues to
reveal His Word in truth to us. That is our caring and sharing; not of ourselves,
but from God the Father through us to you! (II Corinthians 1:4)
We pray that you will be blessed
from the Word of God; to the increasing of your faith and spiritual strength in
these last of the last days.
But
the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
