Questions and Answers
Do
you call yourself a Watchman?
Yes, but
only one of many. I also wouldn’t limit myself to that role, depending on God’s
leading. In a world as big as ours, many watchmen are needful. And with God the
Holy Spirit inhabiting each true believer, it is important that we remain open
to His unique leading, not limiting ourselves to a certain role.
The Lord has
greatly led me in the areas of discernment and false teachings, stacked up
against the true Bible teachings we find in the King James Bible. God’s message
to Ezekiel in Ezekiel 3:5-9, and 33:1-7, found a unity of Spirit within my own
soul.
It is also
not an easy call to embrace, and indeed I had resisted it for quite some time.
Yet it is especially so needful for today, as historical time is fast funning
out. This is that time of the falling away spoken of in II Thessalonians 2:3.
Though the great majority will reject what I say, I believe that there is still
a faithful remnant that God wants to reach.
Doesn’t
the Bible tell us not to judge others?
Often it is
assumed that God doesn’t want His people to judge, due to improper teachings
taken from Matthew 7, and Romans 14. A more thorough examination of these two
sections, as well as reviewing many other scriptures, will “change the
lighting” in our souls a bit. Please see our article, The Judgment of
Matthew 7. Jesus also tells us that we will know them by their
fruits.
It is
comfortable to adopt a philosophy of non-judgment; that would mean good and
evil are only subjective opinions, and everyone could pretty much do as they
like, without criticism. But many are the scriptures which promote judgment
among God’s people. These are not preached on much, as their message is really
unpopular! See for yourself in Romans 16:17; I Corinthians 2:15,16; Ephesians
5:11; II Thessalonians 3:14; II Timothy 3:16,17, 4:2-4; Titus 3:10,11; II John
9-11. Enough said!
Do
you have any higher education?
Some, but it is unimportant.
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise
men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the
world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to
confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things
which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to
nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. I
Corinthians 1:26-29
The man
after God’s own heart (David), was a shepherd, and the youngest of 8 brothers.
When Jesus arrived on earth bodily, only shepherds were immediately notified.
The disciples were an assortment, but the main core of Peter, James, John—were fisherman.
God is no
respecter of persons, and much evil has come about because of unrealistic
“faith” in educated leaders. While I do hold a B.A. in religion, only teaching directly
from the Word and the Holy Spirit are truly needful.
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in
you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth
you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you,
ye shall abide in him. I John 2:27
My time in
the “Christian” higher education realm has shown me a vast corruption; in fact,
that area has been directly targeted by satanic forces. This should not really
be surprising.
Do not yield
to the banter of “educated” men or women—those views and teachings are only
valid in where they agree with the Word of God.
Why do you only use the
King James Bible?
It is the
perfectly preserved, inerrant Word of God (Psalms 12:6,7) The Bible version
issue is absolutely vital—we must know what is True (Please read the
Bible Version section).
Satan wants
to confuse believers with many, many versions. There really are only two: The Authorized Translation and the Revised
Translation. The King James is the Authorized, and every other version comes
from the Revised.
Laymen are
sold the new versions based on the assumption that they are basically identical
to the King James, just with more up to date wording. This is how it has been
represented by church leadership!
So as a new
convert, I also accepted this deceit. My KJV was cashed in for a NASV, and it
was my “holy bible” for some 17 years.
One day I
found a tract that gave some small insight into the Bible tampering issue, and
it was a concern. Jesus said, “If a man love me, he will keep my words.” John
14:23. How can you keep Jesus’ words unless you know that you have them?
Slowly, I began looking into it…
Over three
years later, I switched back to the King James Bible. It was very
clear that the other versions were critically
different. In the years that followed, I began to study more intently. Evidence
overwhelmed me, as I grew to see exactly how
and why God chose to preserve His
Word the way it appears in the King James Bible.
Through
God’s Word we can have a solid foundation for our lives. If you have been
saved, you need to rely on the true Word of God. Without it, you are
slowly poisoning your spiritual lives with lethal poison. I have been sent to
call God’s people back to His True Word.
Is the Bible really
relevant today?
The Bible
will always be relevant; it alone is our sure source of truth. Many make the mistake
of confining its message to a certain people, in a certain place and time;
almost as if they were reading someone else’s mail!
It is true
that the way God deals with mankind has changed somewhat over time; yet our God
is eternally
the same. I am amazed at the consistency I see in God’s character
throughout the whole history of the Bible.
The
scriptures will always have answers
to your questions; some will be obvious, and some will require more prayer and
searching. Nations may rise or fall, technology changes, but “there is nothing
new under the sun.” — Ecclesiastes 1:9.
Shouldn’t churches
focus on unity, not differences?
Only within
the “body” of Christ. The organized
churches of today are not the spiritual body of believers that God is
seeking (John 4:23). A church congregation may contain some of Christ’s body, but the entire group in general is not His body. This type of
atmosphere of universal acceptance of church attendees as being Christian will
ultimately lead to undermining the faith of any real believers.
The true
body of Christ is spiritual. To erect
a building with an “Everyone welcome” sign out front is not an example of
Jesus’ disciples actually following the great commission of going into the world, and making
disciples. II Corinthians 6:14-18 tells us not to be yoked with unbelief, but
to come apart and be separate.
So yes, unity
is appropriate, when sought after with the right perspective and priority—holiness
through Christ must come first!
Are all religions the
same?
No. As we spiral downward toward the
end of time, Satan is seeking to unify
mankind within a single religion. Many are the advocates of such a merger;
primarily those of a new age leaning,
though you will also find supposed evangelical Christian leaders like Billy
Graham and Rick Warren pushing for it. It is quite common to hear such
advocates promote the position that all
faiths really worship the same God, only by different names.
Yet if you
take time to study the various religions, you will find them to be far too
different to be referring to the same God. And there is no room for such a
pluralism found within the Bible. Jesus is the only way, with no other options
(John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Please see our section; The Only Way: Christ vs.
Other Religions.
Isn’t sincerity what
counts with God?
Not at all.
The Bible tells us that “…all have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God.”—Romans 3:23. And then, “…the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”—Romans 6:23. All that counts is
the perfect, sinless blood of Jesus, who was offered as the atonement for our sins! If we only needed to
be sincere (good works), then Christ need not have died (Galatians 2:21).
What church do you
belong to?
The one true
church, the bride of Christ.
Despite
years of searching, all of the organized churches that I attended have “fallen
away” to “another gospel.” There may still be a few true believers within each,
but the doctrines are often merely the “commandments of men” instead of God’s
Word. I have not been called to one particular congregation, but to sound the
warning trumpet to many people and congregations.
Would you recommend a
church?
It is wonderful
and needful to fellowship with a body of true Christian believers. I would urge
any of my true brethren to seek this—but through much prayer with discernment
(Holy Spirit revealing).
Look for
fellowship with those who reverence the Bible as God’s Word, and consult
it first for direction. This
will generally mean at least several visits to a church. When in attendance,
you will have prepared thoroughly ahead of time, so you can be attentive to the
details you come across. Take notes concerning questionable teachings, and
research them later. Allow for human frailty, as well!
So then,
there is not one particular denomination
that I can honestly mention as being favorable. It is God Himself that must lead you! But remember that attending an
organized church is not necessary for salvation—so don’t force it. Seek
the Lord, and be patient (Proverbs 3:5,6).
Isn’t the time of
Christ’s 2nd coming unknowable?
The correct
answer is both yes and no! The Bible shows us that the exact
time of Christ’s return, the day and hour,
are known only to God the Father. But the season will be certain!
Jesus made
it clear to His disciples, that certain signs would make it clear to them that
the end was at hand (Matthew 24:33, Mark 13:29, Luke 21:31). Mark 13 concerns
these end times; in the last 5 verses of this chapter, we are told watch
3 times. Why watch, if you can’t
know? And I Thessalonians 5:1-6 makes it extra clear that we believers will
know the time of the end.
The exact
day and hour are kept from us, as a way to discern false prophets who would say otherwise; it is for our protection! Biblically, there would
be no
way to determine an exact day and hour.
Simply
calling the time of Christ’s return “unknowable,” is a lie from Satan. It is by this that our enemy has lulled to sleep
the organized church; thus freeing him from scrutiny, as he deceives and
corrupts the people of earth!
So what if these are
the last days? If I’m saved, it’ll be OK—right?
No. The Word
goes to great lengths to tell us how to recognize the end, and to be ready. It
warns against deception and “falling away,” and should be taken seriously. If
you choose to be blind to these parts of the Word, which warn of such deception,
you could very well be lost.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou
hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest
to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy
children. Hosea 4:6
